Job summary

Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is seeking a Hospital Environmental Services Supervisor to oversee daily EVS and Linen operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and quality. You will supervise through a chain of subordinate supervisors and participate in hiring, training, and committee activities.

The role requires knowledge of medical waste management, linen handling, and compliance with accreditation and survey readiness standards. Shift availability for all shifts is required at ARMC.

Qualifications

• Two years of supervisory experience over housekeeping/linen staff in an acute care hospital.
• Knowledge of medical waste management and hospital linen handling/processing.
• Experience serving on hospital committees and ensuring survey readiness per accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily Environmental Services operations through subordinate supervisors.
• Plan, assign and review work; evaluate performance and conduct disciplinary actions as needed.
• Participate in hiring, orientation, in-service training; maintain cleanliness, safety and quality.
• Represent the department on hospital committees and ensure compliance with standards.
