Job summary

AdventHealth Ocala, FL is seeking a Hospital Linen Supervisor to oversee clean linen distribution, ensure supplies are tracked, and maintain equipment in good working order.

You will supervise staff, handle scheduling, training, and performance reviews, while adhering to JCAHO and state regulations. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years hospital housekeeping or building maintenance experience.
• Minimum of one (1) year supervisor experience.
• Ability to plan, organize, direct and control.
• Knowledge of healthcare cleaning and infection prevention practices.
• Ability to manage expenses within a budgeting process.

Responsibilities

• Manages clean linen distribution and tracks linen supplies.
• Supervises staff: assigns work, trains, hires, evaluates performance, and handles disciplinary actions.
• Creates and reviews schedules; ensures adequate coverage.
• Ensures compliance with JCAHO, Federal, State, Local regulations and standards.
• Monitors supplies, reports inspections, and coordinates training when needed.
• Maintains logs for attendance and safety inspections; handles department communications.
