Job summary

AdventHealth Ocala is seeking a Linen Services Supervisor to manage clean linen distribution, monitor supplies, and supervise staff in a healthcare setting. You will ensure equipment remains in good condition, review procedures for compliance, and coordinate with leadership on inspections and training.

The role requires 3+ years in hospital housekeeping or similar, strong English communication, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare housekeeping practices and infection prevention.
• Ability to manage staff, schedules, and training.
• Familiarity with compliance standards (JCAHO/Regulatory).
• Experience in budgeting and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Supervises linen staff, assigns work, trains, evaluates performance.
• Monitors linen distribution, inventory, and supplier relations.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are clean and functional.
• Maintains schedules and ensures adequate coverage.
• Reviews policies for compliance with regulations and standards.
• Coordinates safety and training with leadership.
