Job summary

1910 Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Aide Level I to maintain a clean, sanitary environment that supports high-quality patient care. This onsite role is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit and reports to the Environmental Services Supervisor.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and 1-3 years of environmental services/housekeeping experience. The schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of environmental services/housekeeping experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions required.

Responsibilities

• Clean ceilings, surfaces, cupboards, furnishings and floors in patient care areas to high standards of cleanliness and disinfection.
• Sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies daily.
• Move beds and set up meeting rooms as requested.
• Adhere to Infection Control policies and maintain safety and confidentiality.
