Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of environmental services/housekeeping experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written instructions required.
• Experience in environmental services or housekeeping preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and high-quality customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Clean ceilings, surfaces, furniture and floors in patient care units and other areas to high standards of cleanliness and disinfection.
• Sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies daily.
• Murn and mop floors, vacuum assigned areas.
• Transport trash to designated areas per regulations.
• Maintain entrances and draperies, blinds and shades.
• Move patient beds and change mattresses as requested.
• Set up meeting rooms and handle sharps containers as needed.
• Respond to requests promptly and adhere to safety and infection control policies.
