Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Associate for the Surgery Room area in Sheboygan. The role involves cleaning patient care and surgical spaces, restrooms, offices and common areas to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.

Shift: 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts starting between 6:00 am and 8:00 am. No weekends, holidays, or call. Training provided; strong attention to detail and teamwork preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient care areas, surgical areas, restrooms, rooms, offices, and lobbies.
• Clean surfaces including ceilings, walls, furniture, beds, and fixtures; handle spills as needed.
• Dust and mop floors in corridors, restrooms, and patient areas.
• Replace cubicle/window coverings; prepare dismissal and transfer units.
• Stock and deliver linens; dispose of recyclables and medical waste per guidelines.
• Report equipment failures or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Assist in inventory of supplies.
