Responsibilities

• Cleans patient care areas, surgical areas, restrooms, lobbies, offices, and common spaces.
• Cleans environmental surfaces including ceilings, walls, doors, furniture, and windows.
• Dusts and mops floors in patient areas, corridors, and restrooms.
• Replaces cubicle/window coverings.
• Collects and disposes recyclables, trash, and medical waste per guidelines.
• Sorts, stocks, and delivers linens; prepares soiled linen for transport.
• Cleans and prepares dismissal/transfer units and distributes supplies.
• Fills and cleans supply dispensers.
• Keeps linen and cleaning supplies organized; inventories and orders as needed.
• Reports mechanical failures or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
