Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a full-time Environmental Services team member for the Sheboygan site. The role involves cleaning patient care areas, surgical rooms, restrooms, lobbies, and offices while following infection control guidelines.

You will handle linen processing, waste disposal, and supply distribution with emphasis on safety and efficiency. Hours are 2:30pm-11:00pm, with alternating weekends and holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• No previous experience required.
• Ability to follow and understand oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient care areas, surgical areas, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, offices, elevators and stairwells.
• Clean environmental surfaces including ceilings, walls, doors, furniture, and windows; assist in cleaning spills.
• Dust and damp mop floors in patient areas, corridors, restrooms and other facility areas.
• Replace cubicle and window coverings.
• Collect and dispose recyclables, trash and medical waste following guidelines.
• Sort, stock and deliver linens and prepare soiled linen for transport.
• Prepare and distribute supplies to designated areas and maintain closets.
