Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring a full-time environmental services teammate in Wisconsin. The role involves cleaning rooms and facilities, operating power cleaning equipment, and preparing spaces for meetings with audio-visual setup.

You will maintain safety standards and support infection control while providing excellent service. The position is Mon-Fri from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm with occasional 9:30 am–6:00 pm or 1:30–9:00 pm shifts; no weekend/holiday obligations currently, with potential changes

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various cleaning equipment (machine scrubbers, carpet cleaners, waste compactors, balers).
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and communicate with others.
• Ability to work alone and understand facility layouts.
• Follows department policies and maintains safety standards.
• Basic computer skills and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Cleans furniture and carpets; refinishes floors and maintains surfaces.
• Operates cleaning equipment and reports safety hazards or needed repairs.
• Uses cleaning products safely and references MSDS as needed.
• Sets up rooms and delivers audio-visual equipment.
• Cleans patient care areas, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Performs terminal and project cleaning in surgical areas.
• Handles waste and linen and inventories supplies.
