Yale NewHaven Health is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to maintain clean, safe patient areas under supervision. You will perform cleaning tasks, manage waste, and prepare rooms for next admission, while following all department procedures.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work as part of a patient care team with attention to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Able to work independently and as part of a patient care team.

Responsabilités

• Follows department procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Performs housekeeping tasks to maintain sanitary areas.
• Performs trash removal duties and proper disposal of waste.
• Follows proper protocol for safe handling and disposal of contaminated items.
• Maintains bed management system and supports room turnaround.
