Responsibilities

• Follows department procedures to ensure a safe environment and sets up equipment with necessary supplies.
• Performs housekeeping tasks to maintain sanitary conditions of all areas.
• Performs trash removal and recycling duties, including medical waste and sharps handling per protocol.
• Maintains bed management readiness and supports patient room turnover and discharge planning.
• Responds to spill clean-ups or safety-related issues; uses cleaning equipment safely and properly.
