High school diploma or GED is preferred, and English proficiency is required to communicate with staff and patients.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to speak and understand English per job requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service through interaction with patients, visitors and staff; respond to requests promptly.
• Clean all areas assigned using department-approved methods.
• Stock areas with paper goods, soaps and patient supplies as needed.
• Respond to emergency calls as directed by supervisor and policy.
• Attend required staff meetings and complete required training.
• Stock linens on exchange carts or deliver carts to patient units.
• Operate and maintain all cleaning equipment in good working order.
• Use the phone system to operate pagers and integrated software programs.
• Complete meeting setups as directed by supervisor.
• Collect linens and dispose of red and regular trash per guidelines.
• Meet performance expectations for customer service, teamwork, and productivity.
