Banner Health in Mesa, AZ seeks a dedicated Housekeeping/EVS Associate to maintain clean, sanitized patient areas in a large hospital setting. You will perform routine cleaning, cart movement, waste handling, and supply restocking to support safe, welcoming environments for patients and staff.

The role involves walking, pushing a cleaning cart, and using cleaning chemicals in a fast-paced environment. Schedule: 07:00 to 3:30, with weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision.
• Effective communication with others by phone and verbally.
• Ability to read and understand MSDS and instructions for mixing and use of cleaning chemicals; able to log chemical identification stickers.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks: dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming and polishing per policy.
• Empty hampers, transport soiled linen, manage trash and medical waste containers.
• Inventory, restock and replenish supplies (toilet tissue, towels, soap) across assigned areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and report repairs; log usage of equipment.
• May perform special projects (windows/walls cleaning, heavily soiled items).
• Respond to questions from patients, staff and visitors; strive for high customer service satisfaction.
