Trinity Health seeks an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a sanitary, safe hospital environment and enhance the appearance of Mount Carmel facilities. You will follow service standards, ensure cleanliness, and support daily operations across patient areas and common spaces.

The role emphasizes teamwork, responsible handling of cleaning chemicals, and timely communication with staff. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and the position is full-time with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to clearly and respectfully communicate with patients, visitors, and all colleagues and to verbalize approved scripting.
• Reading, basic math and writing skills required.
• Knowledge of the correct use of chemicals and equipment relevant to environmental services.

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
• Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary.
• Move furniture for repair or cleaning and set up meeting rooms.
• Assist in cleaning of spills and floods and communicate timely with staff.
• All other duties as assigned.
