Job summary

Trinity Health Chelsea is seeking an Environmental Specialist for the evening shift. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment across patient towers, exam rooms, and public areas in accordance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, restocking supplies, and assisting in staff training. High school diploma or GED preferred; english literacy required; prior cleaning/customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must speak, read, and write English.
• Basic math skills.
• Three months customer service or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks in patient towers, public areas, exam rooms, and offices.
• Clean and disinfect surfaces; dust and mop floors.
• Restock supplies and change linens; make beds.
• Operate vacuum cleaners and move equipment safely.
• Identify safety risks and report unsafe conditions.
• Maintain fragrance-free environment and follow Service Excellence standards.
• Assist in training staff and participating in quality improvements.
