Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in building safety, cleanliness and maintenance preferred.
• Ability to operate household vacuum, floor cleaning and buffing equipment.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Follows established work schedule in cleaning and maintaining assigned internal areas (public areas, program areas, residential areas).
• Cleans external premises/grounds (front/back entrances, dining area parking, etc.).
• Cleans carpets and flooring (stripping/waxing, vacuuming, spot cleaning).
• Maintains cleanliness and aseptic conditions throughout the facility and reports safety concerns.
• Maintains supply inventory and generates purchase orders when needed.
• Assists with resident admissions/discharges and maintenance tasks as required.
