Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships within the health care team.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills, including email and e-learning modules.
• Be able to work with cleaning chemicals and PPE safely.

Responsibilities

• Disinfect patient treatment, invasive care areas, staff and visitor areas per policies.
• Handle collection, storage, and disposal of general medical waste following procedures.
• Clean remodeled or new areas and prepare for occupancy.
• Perform projects such as curtain changes, floor refinishing, carpet cleaning, and wall washing.
• Prepare patient rooms and support areas for new patients, including disinfection and supplies replenishment.
• Interact with patients and visitors to provide directions and information.
