Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, OH is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. The role focuses on sanitation of patient rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces, with attention to infection prevention and customer service as a core part of daily duties.

The position supports hospital operations in a 25-bed rural setting, with a shift tentatively from 3:00PM to 11:30PM and a comprehensive benefits package including insurance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bathrooms: clean and disinfect fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows and walls daily; replenish supplies.
• Patient Rooms: perform terminal cleaning and prep rooms for new occupants; follow safety measures.
• Fixtures, Surfaces, Furnishings: dust, wipe, sanitize, and arrange as needed; clean fixtures and shelving.
• Floors & Carpets: sweep, mop, sanitize, vacuum, and spot-clean as required.
• Laundry: handle laundry and waste tasks, transport as needed.
• Stairways: spot-clean walls; clean floors.
• Windows: spot-clean and sanitize between washings.
• End of Shift: return supplies, clean equipment, and store carts.
• Other Duties: as assigned; follow policies, safety, and infection control.
• Supplies & Area Conditions: report low supplies or issues to manager.
