Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an Environmental Service Associate to clean and maintain defined areas, ensuring patient rooms and public spaces meet high standards. You will support departmental processes and provide excellent customer service across the hospital environment.

Day shift, 24 hours per week, with responsibilities including stock management, linen distribution, and adherence to safety and quality norms within a High Reliability Organization framework.

Qualifications

• No degree or diploma required for this role.
• HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18 and not in high school.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning and maintenance of patient rooms, public areas and service areas as assigned.
• Follows equipment usage procedures and completes work orders to monitor equipment and processes.
• Keeps carts and areas stocked; linen distribution is included in stocking duties.
• Willing to perform other duties to meet hospital cleanliness and safety standards.
• Provides a high level of customer service to patients and other customers.
