Job summary

Abrazo Arrowhead Campus is seeking an Environmental Services worker to maintain general cleanliness in patient care areas, procedure rooms, and support spaces. You will also distribute linen and assist with other housekeeping tasks in a busy hospital setting.

Applicants should have GED and experience in environmental services or hospitality/healthcare. This role supports a patient-centered environment and participates in a team-driven EVS department with opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• GED with ability to read, write and understand English.
• 2 years work in environmental services or related field.
• Prior cleaning experience in hospital/healthcare setting.
• May substitute domestic experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning in assigned areas using prescribed methods.
• Maintains equipment cleanliness and arranges repairs when necessary.
• Observes and reports repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures.
• Accounts for cleanliness and neat appearance of assigned areas.
• Follows department and hospital policies and procedures.
• Learns other functions to ensure flexible staffing.
• Demonstrates ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented environment.
• Other related tasks as assigned.
