Job summary

Abrazo Arizona Heart Hospital is seeking a capable EVS associate responsible for general cleanliness in medical facilities, including procedure areas and patient care areas. You will distribute linen, remove trash, and move heavy equipment as directed.

The role requires attention to department policies and may involve learning other functions to support flexible staffing. Minimum GED with ability to read and write English; 2 years in environmental services or related hospitality/healthcare

Qualifications

GED with ability to read, write and understand English.
2 years work in environmental services in lieu of education.
Prior cleaning experience.
2 years of experience in hospitality or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas using prescribed methods.
Maintains assigned equipment for cleanliness and has repairs made when necessary.
Observes and reports the need for repairs to equipment, furniture, building and fixtures.
Accounts for cleanliness and neat appearance of assigned areas.
Follows department and hospital policies and procedures.
Learns other functions or positions to ensure satisfactory operation of the department/work unit.
Demonstrates ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment and to meet deadlines.
