Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of housekeeping, sanitation, and infection prevention practices preferred.
• Comfortable using smartphones and mobile apps for work.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Maintain carts and equipment in a clean, organized, safe condition.
• Restock paper products, soap, and supplies.
• Disinfect isolation and precaution rooms per infection control policies.
• Transport trash and soiled linen.
• Respond to calls and assignments using department-issued devices.
• Attend department meetings and trainings.
• Report maintenance concerns to leadership in a timely manner.
• Provide professional, service-oriented interactions with patients and visitors.
• Follow safety policies and infection prevention guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
