Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to help maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, caregivers, and visitors. The role focuses on infection prevention, patient satisfaction, and facility appearance.

The position requires strong customer service, teamwork, and adherence to safety and infection control standards. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, and familiarity with smartphones for work communication is a plus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of infection prevention practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, common areas, and ancillary hospital spaces.
• Maintain carts and equipment in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Restock paper products, soap, and other supplies throughout assigned areas.
• Clean and disinfect isolation and precaution rooms in accordance with infection control policies.
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, hazards, and safety issues to leadership in a timely manner.
