Job summary

OhioHealth’s Van Wert Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to keep patient areas clean and safe in a full-time day shift (7am-3:30pm) with rotating weekends and holidays. You will perform cleaning, stocking, and basic housekeeping tasks while delivering high levels of customer service across the hospital.

No degree is required. 16–17-year-olds may apply with a valid work permit; 18-year-olds in high school may be considered without a diploma.

Qualifications

• No Degree or Diploma
• 16- and 17-year-old individuals without a high school diploma or GED will be considered only if they have a valid work permit.
• 18-year-old individuals enrolled in high school do not need a high school diploma/GED/work permit to be considered.

Responsibilities

• 40% of duties involve cleaning or maintenance tasks and following departmental processes.
• 20% of duties include using equipment correctly and recording activities in the required paperwork.
• 10% of duties involve stocking carts and areas, including linen distribution.
• 10% of duties cover willingness to take on other duties to meet hospital cleanliness and safety standards.
• 20% of duties emphasize high levels of customer service throughout the OhioHealth organization and focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
