Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an Environmental Service Associate to maintain clean patient rooms and public areas in our hospital. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency while delivering high-level customer service to patients and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning tasks, using equipment correctly, stocking carts and linens, and performing additional duties as needed. The position is a night shift with a 40-hour work week within the Environmental Services department.

Qualifications

• No Degree or Diploma required.
• HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18 and not in high school.
• 16- and 17-year-old individuals can be considered with a valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains patient rooms, public areas and service areas as assigned.
• Operates cleaning equipment correctly and notifies appropriate area through the paperwork to track supplies.
• Keeps carts and areas stocked; includes linen distribution as part of stocking duties.
• Performs additional duties as assigned to meet hospital cleanliness and safety standards.
• Delivers high level of customer service to patients and other customers throughout the OhioHealth system.
