Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking an Environmental Services Associate at Van Wert Hospital to clean patient rooms, public areas and service areas, providing friendly customer service to patients and staff.

This full-time day shift role requires following department procedures, using cleaning equipment, stocking carts, handling linen distribution, and completing required paperwork. You may assist with storeroom duties to meet safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• No degree or diploma required.
• HS diploma or GED preferred for individuals over 18.

Responsibilities

• Obtains assigned cleaning or maintenance requests from automated system, daily sheet, or verbal direction.
• Performs other duties such as moving beds or furniture to service customers or cleaning.
• Follows departmental/organizational processes and completes paperwork to monitor statistics.
• Follows equipment usage guidelines and notifies areas through work orders to keep equipment stocked.
• Keeps carts and areas stocked; linen distribution included in stocking.
• Willing to perform other duties including storeroom maintenance to meet safety and cleanliness standards.
• Demonstrates high level of customer service to patients and all customers.
