Job summary

KAISER is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide in Salem, Oregon. Under direct supervision, you will clean hospitals, clinics, and related facilities, following established procedures. Duties include cleaning, sanitizing, bed making, waste disposal, and reporting safety issues.

A background check is required; external hires will be considered in compliance with laws. Eligible applicants with arrest records will be reviewed accordingly.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental hygiene/housekeeping.
• Able to understand oral and written communication.
• Able to lift 35 pounds frequently, 60 pounds occasionally, and push carts up to 350 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas with cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
• Sanitize and polish sinks, mirrors, tubs; replenish supplies.
• Strip, wash, and make beds following discharge procedures.
• Empty waste baskets and dispose of trash and infectious waste.
• Clean fixtures, vacuum carpets, and dust blinds.
• Identify safety issues and report to supervisor.
