Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Northwest is seeking an entry-level Environmental Services Housekeeper to join the Sunnyside Medical Center team in Oregon. Under direct supervision, you will perform a variety of housekeeping duties across hospitals and clinics, maintaining infection control and patient safety standards.

You will clean, sanitize, strip and make beds, dispose of waste, replenish supplies, and report any safety or equipment issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping and environmental hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas with cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
• Sanitize and polish sinks, mirrors and equipment; replenish supplies.
• Strip, wash and make beds; collect soiled linen; transport appropriately.
• Empty waste baskets; dispose of infectious waste; move furniture as needed.
• Report safety issues or equipment failures to supervisor.
• Follow infection control protocols and universal precautions.
