Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping (environmental hygiene).
• Must be able to understand oral & written communication.
• Able to stand and walk majority of shift, and ability to lift, bend, reach and twist repetitively.
• Able to lift 35 pounds frequently, 60 pounds occasionally, and push carts weighing up to 350 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas by washing furnishings, walls, floors and equipment with cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
• Sanitize and polish sinks, mirrors, tubs and similar fixtures; replenish supplies.
• Strip, wash and make beds; collect soiled linen and transport to storage.
• Empty waste baskets and ashtrays; move furniture and dispose of trash and infectious waste.
• Clean mirrors, vents, light fixtures, cabinets, baseboards and bathroom fixtures; vacuum carpets.
