Job summary

Tower Health is seeking an Emergency Preparedness Specialist to develop, implement, and continuously improve the system-wide Emergency Preparedness program across multiple hospitals and facilities. The role supports readiness for natural disasters, public health emergencies, and other critical events through planning, training, exercises, and regulatory compliance.

• Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
• 2 year/associate degree- OR- combination of relevant education & experience may be considered in lieu of associate degree

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining the Emergency Preparedness program across the health system.
• Support training, exercises, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Collaborate with hospital departments, public safety teams, clinical leaders, and community response partners for incident response.
• Provide preparedness education, documentation, compliance monitoring, and after-action improvement.
