Bayhealth Medical Center is seeking an Electrician for the Kent Campus in Dover, Delaware. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, including emergency generators and building fire alarm systems.

The Electrician will work days, 7a-3:30p, in a hospital setting with opportunities for preventive maintenance and immediate response to outages. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and enrollment in a Delaware electrical apprentice program (or 2 years

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Credential: Driver License required; driving record may be reviewed.
• Experience: Currently enrolled in a Delaware electrical apprentice program or have 2 years journeyman training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain primary and secondary electrical distribution systems up to 13,000 volts.
• Install, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Operate generators, switchgear, ATS, and UPS systems.
• Perform PM tasks on equipment 600 volts or less.
• Assist with snow/ice removal and maintain logs for equipment.
