Highmark Health is seeking a qualified electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical power distribution systems and control devices throughout the hospital.

You will perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspect equipment to code, and test emergency systems in line with JCAHO standards. The role requires reading drawings and schematics and obtaining a City of Pittsburgh Electrician License, with preference for a technical/trade school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a hospital environment or equivalent.
• Preferred Technical / Trade School Diploma.
• Ability to understand electrical drawings.
• City of Pittsburgh Electrician License

Responsabilités

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs to electrical equipment within established codes.
• 60% Performs the electrical testing of all emergency equipment in compliance with JCAHO standards.
• 30% Interprets drawings, specifications and electrical schematics to select and install a wide variety of electrical hardware.
