Job summary

LifeGift is seeking a hospital liaison in Houston, TX to collaborate with hospital partners in developing policies and strategies to optimize organ and tissue donation and increase donor referrals.

The ideal candidate will have four years in healthcare with marketing, customer service, public speaking and data analysis, plus a BA/BS in a health-related field. OPO experience is preferred and LifeGift offers strong benefits and a robust retirement package.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in health care related environment with demonstrated success in marketing, customer service, public speaking, data analysis/strategic planning and public relations.
• BA or BS in business, education, marketing, health care administration or public health. Two years of OPO experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams is required

Responsibilities

• Establishes education needs assessments for assigned hospitals and develops and implements educational plan.
• Establishes multi-disciplinary councils within assigned hospitals to forge consensus on donor referral standards.
• Identify and engage decision-making individuals in assigned hospitals including chairpersons of medical staff and referring physicians.
• Respond to customer service-related issues in hospital portfolio and coordinate proactive follow-up to resolve conflicts.
• Serves as a first responder to organ referrals and provides on-site donation case assistance.
