The Liaison will stock vehicles, make rounds to inform case managers of discharge needs, coordinate with centers for home setup, and handle paperwork and billing documentation as required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with patients, physicians, and hospital staff.
• Knowledge of Medicare coverage guidelines and CMNs.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and procedure documents.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Speak effectively before groups of people.

Responsibilities

• Stock vehicle daily with equipment, disposables, and literature.
• Make rounds to contact case managers at facilities.
• Coordinate with centers for home setup of equipment.
• Explain coverage criteria to case managers and patients.
• Complete setup paperwork daily for delivered equipment.
• Assist with CMNs and chart notes as required for billing.
