Job summary

Lincare Holdings in the United States is seeking a Liaison to coordinate discharge equipment delivery and setup, including O2 portability, nebulizers, and small DME, by liaisoning with hospital case managers at facilities assigned.

You will educate on insurance criteria, gather documentation, complete setup paperwork daily, and ensure CMNs and chart notes are available for billing, while maintaining communication with centers and patient care teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to read and interpret instructions and manuals.
• Ability to prepare routine reports and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Stock vehicle daily with equipment, disposables, patient setup paperwork and marketing literature needed for that day.
• Make rounds to contact all case managers at each facility to notify presence for discharge equipment needs.
• Coordinate with centers to schedule home setup of equipment for O2 discharges.
• Explain coverage criteria to case managers and patients as applicable.
• Complete setup paperwork daily for all equipment delivered.
• Assist with CMNs and chart notes required for billing.
