Pelican Care Centers is seeking a qualified food service professional to coordinate meal preparation and service in a healthcare setting. The role requires ensuring portion control, meeting daily menus, and preparing snacks as directed by the Dietary Manager.

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of sanitation, confidentiality, and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to accommodate varied shifts is required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year food experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate food preparation and meal service.
• Plan and initiate cooking schedule to meet meal schedule.
• Prepare, season, cook and serve for assigned meal; ensure appropriate portioned servings according to portion control standards.
• Prepare nutritional snacks for clients as directed by Dietary Manager.
• Determine amount and type of food and supplies as required for daily menus.
• Clean equipment and work areas as assigned by the Dietary Manager.
• Maintains compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
• Perform other department duties assigned by the Dietary Manager.
