Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or related medical facility.
• Food handler's permit required.
• Must be able to speak, understand, and write fluently in English.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu, using standardized recipes.
• Ensure food is of proper quantity and served according to schedules.
• Use correct portion control utensils to ensure accurate quantities.
• Monitor food temperatures and record per policy.
• Maintain adequate supplies and report stock levels to supervisor.
