The Oregon Health Authority (OSH) Environmental Services Department in Junction City is hiring Custodian. The role supports a clean, healthy, and therapeutic environment by meeting agency cleanliness standards, performing floor care, waste handling, and disinfection tasks as needed.

This Employee position includes duties such as cleaning patient wards during outbreaks, operating custodial equipment, and preparing areas for remodels.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 6 months custodial experience with relevant equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk most of the shift.

Responsabilités

• Clean and disinfect all substances, spills and accidents.
• Pick up and deliver bio-hazard waste and sharps to designated area.
• Disinfect patient wards during infectious disease outbreaks.
• Sweep, dust, mop, and buff hard surfaces.
• Vacuum and spot clean carpets and remove trash.
• Scrub, rinse and refinish floors; clean and shampoo carpets and upholstery.
• Maintain custodial equipment.
• Prep floors and walls for remodel projects.
