The Oregon Health Authority (OSH) seeks a Custodian in Junction City to maintain clean and safe environments across facilities. The role supports infection control and general upkeep, including floor care, carpet cleaning, waste handling, and equipment maintenance.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old with at least 6 months custodial experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate cleaning machinery. This is a full-time on-site position with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 6 months custodial experience that included operating equipment needed to perform custodial duties.
• Ability to push/pull heavy custodial equipment (and lift up to 50 pounds), crouch, stoop, bend, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time (90% of work shift).

Responsabilités

• Clean and disinfect all substances, spills and/or accidents.
• Pick-up and deliver bio-hazard waste and sharps to designated secure storage area.
• Disinfect patient wards when infectious disease outbreaks occur.
• Sweep, dust, mop, and/or buff hard surfaces.
• Vacuum and spot clean carpets and remove trash.
• Scrub, rinse and refinish floors; clean, shampoo and extract carpets and upholstered furniture.
• Clean and maintain custodial equipment.
• Prep floors and walls for remodel and/or renovation projects.
