Job summary

HHS is seeking a Culinary Supervisor at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center to lead the hospital’s food and nutrition team and ensure patient meals are accurate and delivered on time. You will support the culinary director, supervise staff, and uphold safety standards while delivering excellent service to patients, staff, and visitors.

We offer full-time and part-time roles with day, evening, and night shifts. Candidates must be 17+ and able to pass background checks and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: 6+ months of supervisor experience (cook, line cook, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Supervisor team members to ensure smooth operations of the criteria, doctor’s dining, catering, and/or patient meals
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients, staff, and visitors
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
