The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a food handler's permit, and at least 1 year of dietary experience in a medical setting. This is a part-time, on-site position with weekend rotation and morning hours.

Qualifications

• Food handler's permit is required.
• Must be able to speak, understand, and write fluently in English.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu, using standardized recipes.
• Ensure food is the proper quantity and on established time schedules.
• Use correct portion control utensils to ensure proper quantities.
• Check and maintain proper food temperatures and record them per policy.
• Ensure adequate supply of food and supplies and report shortages to supervisor.
