College Medical Center Phoenix is seeking a dedicated cook in a hospital food service setting. You will prepare, cook, and serve meals for patients, staff, and visitors, following standardized recipes and health regulations.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. AZ Food Handler Permit and ServeSafe certification are expected within 30 days of hire, with opportunities for shift differential where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of food service experience in healthcare/high-volume setting.
• Operate kitchen and sanitation equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to obtain Food Handlers Permit and ServeSafe within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, cook, and serve all menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant kitchen per health regulations.
• Keep kitchen and storage areas clean and organized according to standards.
• Complete assigned duties while on duty, following safety policies.
