Job summary

PeaceHealth in Oregon seeks a Cook for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Variable position. You will plan, prepare, and cook meals following HACCP guidelines to support patients, staff, volunteers, and visitors.

The role requires accurate recipe execution, proper food handling, and maintaining sanitation. It also involves production planning, record-keeping, and other duties as assigned within a hospital kitchen.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Food Handlers Card for Oregon required/preferred.
• Culinary certification or formal training advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Accurately follow and prepare recipes.
• Prepare hot and cold food according to recipe and guidelines, considering patient counts.
• Maintain proper food handling techniques and sanitize workstation.
• Organize, calculate, and produce food production.
• Maintain records per regulatory and departmental standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
