Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, ID is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our Food and Nutrition Services Department. In this role you will prepare high‑quality food items for patients, our cafeteria, and catering events, while adhering to menus, nutrition guidance, and safety standards.

This is a full‑time, rotating 10‑hour shift four days a week. Two years of food production experience are required, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in food production is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with established menus, recipes, nutrition guidance and sanitary/safety standards.
• Anticipate levels of doneness and produce a high degree of aesthetics in the preparation of food.
• Safely clean and operate all equipment and food preparation areas.
• Follow procedures, production sheets, recipes, cleaning lists and assigned duties, providing exceptional service to customers.
