Job summary

Luminis Health is seeking Hospital Communication Operators to manage all communications for patients, providers, and the community, ensuring smooth telecommunication services including phone, paging, messaging, voicemail, and emergency codes. You will operate the operator console, use Epic or similar databases to access patient information, relay on-call requests, and coordinate alerts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Infinity System or Call Manager knowledge/experience preferred.
• Experience as a customer service representative preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer all calls within three rings and relay messages as needed.
• Use Epic or other databases to access patient information and direct calls.
• Utilize mass communication system to send out text blasts and alerts for codes.
• Maintain confidentiality of all personnel, patient and provider information.
