$55,895.80 - $83,843.71We are looking for an Inpatient Coding Specialist with the following qualifications:
This position is fully remote with equipment provided. Applicants must maintain a secure remote work environment compliant with HIPAA and hospital privacy policies. Experience with 3M 360, EPIC, and hospital encoders is preferred.
Applicants must score 80% or above on the assessment. We will consider new coders with higher scores.
The Hospital Medical Coder is responsible for applying ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to inpatient records, sequencing diagnoses and procedures according to official guidelines and regulations. They support healthcare data reporting for reimbursement, quality, safety, and research purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Maintaining coding quality and productivity standards is essential.
