Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Hospital VP/Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to oversee nursing practice across multiple hospital units, departments, and clinics within the system. You will lead a high-performance nursing team, shape patient-centered care standards, and ensure regulatory compliance while partnering with medical and service-line leaders.

The role requires strategic leadership, financial stewardship, and a track record of improving clinical outcomes in a complex health system.

Qualifications

• 7 years of healthcare leadership or equivalent experience.
• RN license in Minnesota or ability to obtain.
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing practice across designated hospital areas.
• Lead implementation of clinical nursing practice model.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and state boards.
• Lead labor relations and negotiations for nursing staff.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and capital plans.
• Drive patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement.
