Job summary

AHMC Healthcare Inc. seeks a Chief Nursing Officer to act as the senior nursing executive overseeing nursing departments and patient care across the hospital system.

The CNO will drive strategic planning, policy development, budgeting, and regulatory compliance while partnering with HR, governance, medical staff, and administration to advance quality and patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate holds a BSN, an MSN preferred, and has substantial experience leading nursing services in acute care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Five years of nursing leadership or executive management in acute care.
• Knowledge of Title 22, Joint Commission and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level leadership for the nursing departments and patient care.
• Direct services and staffing to meet regulatory and hospital policies.
• Develop and implement clinical and operational policies and standards.
• Lead budget development and control for nursing services.
• Collaborate with HR, governance, medical staff, and management for strategic planning.
• Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and patient satisfaction.
