Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in the state of practice is required.
• Graduate of school of pharmacy is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Two years of technical experience are preferred.
• Two years of clinical pharmacist experience in a regulatory area is preferred.
• One year of hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes, enters, verifies and sends medication orders in a timely, compliant manner.
• Ensures medication therapy is efficacious, safe, and cost-effective; optimizes dosing and indications.
• Participates in rounds, emergency department and other areas as needed; supports regulatory standards.
• Assists in cost savings, formulary compliance, and procurement decisions.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
