Job summary

Adventist Health Sonora is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support unit dose drug distribution under pharmacist supervision. You will assist in processing prescriptions, preparing and delivering medications, and maintaining accurate inventory in a busy hospital setting.

The ideal candidate holds a CA pharmacy technician license (required) and may have an associated degree or relevant experience. This full-time role offers varied shifts and a path for professional growth within the Pharmacy

Qualifications

Education and work experience aligned with pharmacy technician duties; high school or GED preferred or equivalent.
An associate/technical degree or related experience preferred.
CA state pharmacy technician license is required; board certification preferred in CA/OR.

Responsibilities

Pull medications from stock and match labels generated by the pharmacist to patient orders.
Maintain floor stock in nursing areas; restock and rotate medications and manage deliveries.
Prepare IV medication products in compliance with laws and regulations.
Check in orders from wholesalers, distribute stock, and process returns and back orders promptly.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
